UPSRLM

The Uttar Pradesh State Rural Livelihood Mission ( UPSRLM ), which was established in November 2011 under the auspices of the Uttar Pradesh Government’s Rural Development Department, is an autonomous society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The National Rural Livelihood Mission ( NRLM ), which strives to create efficient and effective institutional platforms for the rural poor to raise household income through sustainable livelihood enhancements and enhanced access to financial services, is UPSRLM‘s mandate. To achieve these goals, UPSRLM plans to use an HRRA to hire a full-time staff of development specialists to implement NRLM operations at the state level.
