UPPSC

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is the state institution responsible for conducting the Civil Services Examination for entry-level positions in Uttar Pradesh’s numerous Group A and Group B civil services. The Indian Constitution grants the agency its charter.

On April 1, 1937, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) was established with the primary goal of hiring individuals for various state services. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulation, 1976 governs the commission.

One of the key demands of the political movement was for the superior Civil Services to be Indianized, prompting the British Indian Government to contemplate establishing a Public Service Commission for recruitment to its services in the region. For the first time, the Government of India Act 1935 provided for the formation of Public Service Commissions at the province level. On April 1, 1937, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission was established, with its headquarters in Allahabad. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Regulation, 1976, governs the commission’s operations.

3.On the basis of a single examination.
4.On the basis of merely the examination and the interview.
5.On the basis of the preliminary, main, and interview examinations.
