Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) has been tasked with the development of state-owned power projects as well as the operation and maintenance of state-owned power stations in the state.
On July 19, 2000, the Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. (RVUNL) was established under the Companies Act-1956 by the Rajasthan government.
Since then, the Nigam has taken the lead in prioritising power generation for the state’s multiple and rapid development.

RVUNL’s generating stations have a well-deserved reputation in the country for their efficient and cost-effective electricity generation.
