A Music Screening test, followed by various other selection stages, will be used to select Sailors for Matric Recruit (Musicians) for this recruitment process. There are 33 vacancies for the aforementioned position, and approximately 300 applicants will be invited for the Music Screening Test.

Application forms for Indian Navy Sailor MR Musician are available online. Interested candidates must apply through the Indian Navy’s official website, joinindiannavy.gov.in. Because the application period is limited, candidates interested in joining the Indian Navy as a musician should apply as soon as possible. Applicants should submit their applications as soon as the application window opens, rather than waiting until the deadline.

The Musician Sailor Matric Recruit is chosen at various stages. The following stages comprise the selection process:

• Physical Fitness Test – Applicants must also take a Physical Fitness Test in order to meet all fitness standards outlined by the recruiting authority. All candidates taking the MST must have passed the PST, which will be held in Kunjali, Mumbai.

• Music Screening Test – Following the review of online applications, applicants will be invited to take the Music Screening Test. At this point, all of the candidates’ certificates will be verified. MST is expected to be held in September 2021. Candidates taking the Music Test must bring their Police Verification Form with them.

• Enrollment Medical Examinations (EME) – Candidates who pass the Music test must take the EME in Chilka, Odisha. It is scheduled to take place in October 2021. The date, time, and location will be announced in due course.
  Following the completion of all selection rounds, a final merit list of selected candidates will be prepared. These candidates must then go through training for the course, which begins in October 2021.
